In this role you will provide essential support in delivering the organisation\βs Net Zero commitments, with a strong emphasis on accurate reporting and stakeholder engagement. The position is responsible for compiling and maintaining data for energy management and wider sustainability activities, ensuring compliance with established carbon reporting protocols (CDP, TCFD, SECR, and ESOS).
The role also produces clear and timely reports, supports internal teams and customers with sustainability information, and ensures best practice standards are consistently met. By coordinating with stakeholders across the business, the postholder will provide insight and transparency to monitor progress and meet reporting obligations.
What You\βll Be Doing
- Work proactively with utilities and utility management consultants to close gaps in data and performance across the business, brands, and sites.
- Meet stakeholder requests within agreed timescales.
- Contribute to the reduction of energy usage across the business.
- Support the business in meeting energy-related legal compliance requirements.
- Promote general energy awareness across the organisation.
- Support stakeholders to meet energy compliance and energy reduction requirements.
- Act as the first point of contact for relevant systems within the EHS Team.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues at all levels of the business.
- Responsible for accurate collection, analysis, and reporting of sustainability and energy data.
- Expected to prioritise and manage multiple reporting deadlines simultaneously.
- Provides recommendations to improve energy efficiency and ensure compliance with sustainability frameworks.
- Operates with a degree of autonomy in day-to-day reporting and stakeholder engagement, escalating issues where necessary.

Essential
- Genuine passion and enthusiasm for sustainability, with an understanding of drivers for sustainability improvements.
- Strong understanding of environmental management systems.
- Working knowledge of current and emerging sustainability frameworks and reporting processes (e.g. CDP, TCFD, SECR, ESOS).
- Experience of data reporting, compliance, and verification.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret data and support informed decision-making.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to engage clearly with stakeholders.
- Strong attention to detail, with ability to track costs and savings effectively.
- Ability to manage multiple internal stakeholder relationships.

- Experience using Power BI or similar data visualisation tools.
