We are now looking for an Import & Export Coordinator to join our Manchester-based team and help keep our international supply chain running smoothly.
As our Import & Export Coordinator, you will play a key role in managing the end-to-end process of importing and exporting stock. From ordering and shipping to receipting and processing payments, you will ensure everything runs efficiently, accurately, and in line with international requirements. You will work closely with internal teams and global partners to ensure goods move seamlessly from overseas suppliers to our UK operations.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Create and manage shipping contracts based on collaboration with Purchasing teams.
- Provide advice on shipping contracts, Incoterms, and processes as required.
- Track products once confirmed as in transit and take appropriate actions.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders to confirm product receipt within the UK.
- Ensure invoices are processed at the right time for payment.
- Maintain accurate stock records for relevant business units.
- Manage uplifts application and ongoing maintenance.
- Coordinate stock movements from quay to site or direct deliveries.
- Complete accurate data entry and system updates.
- Generate export documents when required.
- Ensure customs entries are completed correctly and compliantly.

- Knowledge of international procurement contracts, shipping documents, shipping procedures, and overseas payment processes.
- Ability to meet deadlines while maintaining high-quality, accurate information.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Excellent planning ability and attention to detail.
- GCSEs in Maths and English (minimum requirement).
- Computer literate (essential).
