Jewson, a leading building materials distributor in Northern Europe, is on the hunt for a Sales Advisor who is passionate about great service. We provide a fulfilling and enjoyable work environment with opportunities for career growth, a competitive salary, staff discount, life assurance, and 33 days of holiday (inclusive of bank holidays).
Hours
7.00 – 5.00, Monday to Friday and every 2nd Saturday morning 8-12.
Responsibilities
- Develop great relationships with new and existing customers (face to face and over the phone), understanding their needs and providing proactive advice and solutions to deliver the best experience possible.
- Find and develop new business via cold calling, lead follow ups, and general customer interaction.
- Target dormant and lapsed accounts to reactivate them.
- Know our product lines and services to maximise all customer interactions in line with Jewson values.
- Use in-house systems to process customer orders and payments, organise delivery times, update customer accounts and keep customers updated throughout their journey.
- Keep the branch clean and tidy to make a great first impression on customers.
- Maintain stock levels, carrying out regular stock counts.
- Work with colleagues to suggest opportunities for improvement.
