We are currently recruiting for a Partnership Account Manager to join our team to account manage 3 Public Sector clients covering Leeds and surrounding areas. Jewson Partnership Solutions (JPS) is part of STARK Building Materials UK. We are a leading building materials distributor in Northern Europe. We connect suppliers of heavy building materials with the professional craftsmen who build, renovate, and maintain the cities of tomorrow.
Monday to Friday 8am – 5pm – 3 days a week on road, 2 days office based.
About The Role
Our Partnership Account Manager will be responsible and accountable for the delivery and implementation of the JPS growth plan, ensuring customer solutions and support are aligned and complement both our existing and target customer's visions, strategies, and objectives.
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
- Analysing public sector organisations in the designated area with an aim of understanding the existing contract structures, and uncovering potential opportunities for new business.
- Identifying and approaching decision makers, seeking to understand target organisations including their structure, objectives, different trades, number of operatives, processes, IT systems and problems that need solving.
- Building strong relationships at all levels within the client's organisation.
- Working with the bid and estimating team during the tender process, either leading on the bid or supporting the process from a solution perspective.
- Leverage the full spectrum of the Stark brands to ensure we process an unparalleled solution based on the customer needs.
- Ensuring the development and delivery of customer's social value plans, as per individual contracts.
- Assisting the JPS Implementation Manager in the delivery of relevant work packages during new contract mobilisations, re-mobilisations, and de-mobilisations.

We are keen to discuss the role in more detail with candidates with the following skills and experience:
- Experience gained in the Public Sector market preferred, and a clear understanding of its influencing factors.
- Proven experience of working in large customer facing roles, with an ability to build strong relationships – from operative through to Director levels.
- Results orientated, with highly developed financial and commercial acumen.
- Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation and influencing skills – ‘ability to make things happen’.
- Ability to work across functions, with a proven track record of delivery through a collaborative approach.
- Problem solving ability with a ‘Customer First’ ethos.
- A flexible approach, with the ability to accommodate business needs.
- IT literate, with experience using CRMs and MS Office Suite, specifically MS Excel.
- A Driving Licence is required for this role.
