What is the role?
As an enthusiastic and customer-focused Trade Centre Assistant, you'll be at the heart of day-to-day operations helping customers in person, by phone, and by email, ensuring they get the products and service they need to get the job done. You'll also support stock management, order processing, and general branch operations to keep everything running smoothly. As a Trade Centre Assistant, you'll play a vital role in delivering on our promise to customers and keeping the branch running effectively. You'll be part of a supportive, values-led business with a clear purpose of Building our future, through helping others build theirs. Branch opening hours are Mon - Thurs 07.30 - 17.00, Fri 07.30 - 16.00, Sat 08.00 - 12.00 and we are flexible to consider a variety of working hours/patterns to suit your needs!
What will I be doing?
- Welcome and assist customers, providing product advice and friendly, professional service.
- Process transactions and orders accurately and efficiently.
- Assemble and manage customer orders and deliveries, ensuring stock accuracy.
- Support stock management, replenishment, and housekeeping to keep the trade centre well presented.
- Proactively work towards branch sales and performance targets.
- Contribute to a safe working environment by following H&S procedures.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure excellent customer service and smooth branch operations.
