The post holder will bring to life the JP Corry door portfolio to architects, designers, builders and contractors alike, through their trusted knowledge and guidance. The role will deliver on objectives through collaboration with key stakeholders such as customers, the JP Corry door department, the wider business as well as our suppliers. Fulfilling this role will mean travel throughout Northern Ireland, within time evolving into the Republic of Ireland. Therefore, time will be spent on the road, working from home and from Springfield Road as required. Branch opening hours are Mon – Thurs 07.30 – 17.00 Fri 07.30 – 16.00 Sat 08.00 – 12.00 and we are flexible to consider a variety of working hours/patterns to suit your needs! WHAT WILL I BE DOING? Preparing and delivering sales presentations to existing and potential customers / clients Creating project proposals and quotes for new and existing customers / clients Following up on sales leads and seeing them through to completion Proactively seeking opportunities for sales growth Developing and maintaining relationships with architects, designers, builders, and contractors Presenting and explaining products (CPDs) to stakeholders Assisting customers / clients in product selection based on their project requirements and budget Guiding and advising customers / clients through the provision of technical assistance and product education Attending trade shows and other industry events to promote the JP Corry product portfolio Keeping abreast of industry standards, trends and new products Working with the broader group sales team to achieve sales targets through the sales of door packages Providing feedback to the product development team Any other reasonable duties deemed necessary and reasonable for the success of the business WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU? Full and clean driving license essential Proven to be successful (strong record of sales) in an external sales-based role, with evidence of basing your approach on strong sales analysis skills. Knowledge of material supply chains and systems. Prior experience of working with Architects, designers, builders and contractors Flexible to travel within the island of Ireland and UK as and when required Can work collaboratively with a broad spectrum of people at all levels Ability to work as part of a wider team and independently.
