We are looking for an Assistant Bar Manager to join our Bar 190 team at The Gore Hotel. Looking after our colleagues is all that we care about. Your Role & What We Need From You

The Assistant Bar Manager plays a crucial part in our success. Key Requirements and Main Responsibilities:

  • Experience in a similar role in a luxury hotel operation.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to build rapport with people easily.
  • A creative thinker with a can-do attitude and meticulous attention to detail.
  • A confident, energetic, and passionate team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to juggle multiple tasks under pressure.
  • A genuine passion for delivering exceptional service and hospitality.
  • Act as the primary point of contact in the manager’s absence, demonstrating a "lead by example" approach to floor presence and service standards.
  • Work closely with the wider hotel management team to ensure seamless integration between the bar, the hotel lobby, and the restaurant.
  • Drive revenue by training the team in suggestive selling techniques.
  • Assist in managing beverage costs, inventory levels, and labor margins to maximize profitability without compromising the guest experience.
