We are looking for passionate, dedicated and enthusiastic Teachers to join the Starfyn Education Family in a long term, full time teaching role within a supportive and inclusive school setting. One of our partner schools caters for pupils aged 3–11, including a specialist provision supporting children with additional needs such as Speech, Language and Communication Needs (SLCN), Autism (ASD), and learning difficulties. The school is a warm, inclusive and forward-thinking environment, where children are supported to develop confidence, independence, and a love for learning. Staff work closely together to create a positive, engaging atmosphere where every child feels valued and supported. The leadership team is highly supportive and committed to staff development and wellbeing, providing ongoing training and opportunities to grow within your teaching career.

The Role

  • Employment Type – Permanent / Long Term
  • Days Required – Monday to Friday (Full Time)
  • Start Date – September

As a Class Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and inclusive lessons, supporting pupils of all abilities, and creating a classroom environment where every child can succeed.

The Ideal Candidate will:

  • Hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
  • Have experience teaching within a primary or SEN setting (desirable but not essential)
  • Be passionate about inclusive education and supporting diverse learning needs
  • Have strong classroom management and behaviour management skills
  • Be confident in planning, delivering, and assessing engaging lessons
  • Be able to adapt teaching to meet the needs of pupils with SEN, ASD, or additional needs
  • Demonstrate excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Be committed to safeguarding and pupil wellbeing

Your Main Duties:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality, engaging lessons in line with the curriculum
  • Differentiating learning to meet the needs of all pupils, including those with SEN
  • Create a positive, inclusive and structured classroom environment
  • Monitor and assess pupil progress, providing feedback and support
  • Work collaboratively with Teaching Assistants, SENCOs, and wider staff
  • Support pupils’ social, emotional, and behavioural development
  • Maintain accurate records and contribute to reports and reviews
  • Ensure all safeguarding policies and procedures are followed at all times
