Starfyn Education are working alongside a Special Educational Needs Primary and Secondary school that caters for pupils aged between 2 to 19 with a range of educational needs including pupils with moderate learning difficulties, severe learning difficulties with profound and multiple needs as well as pupils with Autism.
Your role will involve:
- Delivering a personalised curriculum tailored to individual pupil need.
- Leading a class team to impact pupil progress positively.
- Ensuring the safeguarding, safety, and wellbeing of all pupils.
- Collaborating with a dedicated multi-professional team.
The ideal candidate will preferably have:
- Special needs experience – Through friends, family and other professional environment.
- Experience teaching in a primary school setting.
- Amazing communication skills and compassion.
- Genuine enthusiasm of working with children and helping them grow.
- Care work or childcare experience.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with students with SEN.
