Job Title: Nursery Assistant Location: Aldershot Are you looking for flexible work as a Nursery Assistant? We are currently recruiting for competent and experienced Nursery Assistants to join our team to support with Short Term and Long-Term placements in local Nurseries in the Aldershot area. Daily Duties will include: β€’ Support the nursery team to ensure effective and positive play opportunities are provided on a day to day basis. β€’ Assist in the implementation of age-appropriate planned and spontaneous activities β€’ Helping to create a warm, safe and inclusive environment. β€’ Supervise children during playtime, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times β€’ Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the nursery environment, including toys and educational materials β€’ Support children in their daily routines, including mealtimes, nap times, and personal hygiene Essential requirements for our Nursery Assistant: β€’ At least 1 years’ experience in a nursery role β€’ Good knowledge & understanding of the EYFS & Statutory framework (training provided by Starfyn if needed) β€’ Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) β€’ Ability to use your own initiative β€’ Flexibility to adapt to changing situations and respond to children\'s needs promptly β€’ A natural ability to show compassion, empathy and understanding in your day-to-day interactions with children Desirable requirements for our Nursery Assistant: Basic level knowledge of the EYFS An enhanced DBS Check Safeguarding and EYFS Training Happy to complete online early years CPD training Benefits from working with Starfyn Education – β€’ Competitive daily pay β€’ Support with the entire clearance process β€’ FREE training to support your career development β€’ Designated consultants to support you with finding work, and preparing for interview/trial days
