Starfyn Recruitment are looking for dedicated and compassionate Domiciliary Care Assistants to join our team, supporting adults in their own homes across Slough, Windsor, and Maidenhead. You’ll play a vital role in helping individuals maintain their independence, dignity, and quality of life by delivering person-centred care and support within the community.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Providing personal care (washing, dressing, toileting, grooming).
- Supporting with meal preparation, household tasks, and medication prompts.
- Encouraging independence and supporting daily living activities.
- Building strong, trusting relationships with service users and their families.
- Reporting any changes in needs or well being to supervisors promptly.
- Ensuring care is provided with respect, empathy, and professionalism.
What we are looking for:
- Previous experience as a Care Assistant, Support Worker, or similar (domiciliary care preferred).
- A caring and patient nature, with a genuine desire to help others.
- Reliable and flexible – able to travel between service users’ homes.
- Valid UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle (preferred).
- A current DBS or willingness to apply for one.
