Starfish Search is working with a local London authority to recruit an Interim IT Project Manager to take ownership of a portfolio of impactful tech upgrades across a local government environment. We’re looking for a skilled contractor to lead the delivery of several key IT service initiatives - each critical to modernising infrastructure and supporting operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Windows 11 deployment – leading the rollout and ensuring a smooth transition across the organisation
- Decant of the Cody site – planning and delivering IT infrastructure moves and continuity
- Wi-Fi review and replacement – assessing current capabilities and implementing fit-for-purpose upgrades
- Infoblox implementation – delivering IPAM and DNS solutions to strengthen network resilience
- MFD replacement – overseeing a modern refresh of multifunction devices across council sites
About You
- Proven experience delivering IT infrastructure/service projects in the public sector or complex organisations
- Strong stakeholder engagement and supplier management skills
- Ability to work across multiple workstreams with confidence and clarity
- A delivery-focused mindset with a structured, methodical approach
- PRINCE2 or equivalent project management qualification desirable
This opportunity will pay circa £400 - £450 per day.
