Starfish Search are working with a council who are seeking a Project Lead for Adult Services to play a central role in delivering transformation across adult social care. This pivotal role will focus on driving forward the Adult Social Care Improvement Plan, coordinating complex projects, and building strong partnerships with health, housing, and voluntary sector partners to improve outcomes for local communities.
You Will:
- Lead on the delivery of adult social care transformation projects, ensuring compliance with the Care Act and CQC assurance requirements.
- Develop, implement, and review improvement plans, ensuring all returns and reports are delivered to a high standard and within agreed timescales.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal colleagues, external agencies, and partners across health, housing, and the voluntary sector.
- Provide clear, evidence-based reports, recommendations, and business cases to senior leaders and elected members.
- Support cultural change and continuous improvement across adult services, ensuring best practice and innovative approaches are embedded.
You Will Have:
- Substantial experience of leading and delivering complex projects within adult social care, transformation, or a related public service field.
- In-depth knowledge of the Care Act, adult social care legislation, and national policy developments.
- Proven ability to influence, negotiate, and build effective partnerships across multiple agencies.
- Excellent communication and analytical skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly to a wide range of audiences.
