Starfish Search are working with a leading social justice and harm reduction charity with global ambition, as it strengthens its senior leadership team. The organisation is looking to appoint an experienced Director to provide strategic leadership across care, quality and governance, ensuring high standards of safety, compliance and continuous improvement.

THE ROLE

You will be a key member of the Strategic Leadership Team, reporting to the CEO and Board of Trustees, with responsibility for the organisation’s care, quality, governance and safety strategy. A core part of the role is providing assurance that quality, safety and governance systems are effective and that policies, processes and standards meet regulatory and legal requirements. You will oversee incident management, complaints, audit, risk and continuous improvement, ensuring learning is shared across the organisation.

You will also hold a number of key organisational responsibilities, including CQC Nominated Individual, Caldicott Guardian, Organisational Safeguarding Lead and Director of Infection Control and Prevention. The role also has oversight of information governance, IT, health and safety, environmental compliance and accreditation.

You will bring strong strategic leadership experience, with a track record across quality and governance within a healthcare, care or corporate environment. Strong knowledge of CQC regulation, safeguarding, information governance and quality improvement will be important, alongside the ability to lead change and work confidently with senior stakeholders.

This is an interim appointment for a 6-month FTC, offering a competitive salary. Closing date for applications is Wednesday 16th September.
