Interim Commercial Director – Local Authority (North England)

Starfish is supporting a local authority in the North of England to appoint an Interim Commercial Director.

Working closely with the council’s senior leadership team, you will drive new approaches to revenue generation, strengthen financial performance, and lead the commercialisation of a heritage site while safeguarding its heritage value. You will also support wider organisational development, introducing new ways of working to build a modern and sustainable commercial model.

Responsibilities

• Drive new approaches to revenue generation, strengthen financial performance, and lead the commercialisation of a heritage site while safeguarding its heritage value.
• Support wider organisational development by introducing new ways of working to build a modern and sustainable commercial model.
• Lead a transformation programme to diversify and grow income streams.

Qualifications

• Strong track record of commercialisation across heritage, leisure, parks, or visitor-based environments.
• Experience leading transformation programmes.
