Prostate Cancer UK is the UK’s leading charity for men affected by prostate cancer – the most common cancer in men.
They fund world‑class research, provide expert support, and campaign hard to change the reality for the 1 in 8 men who will be diagnosed in their lifetime.
Their ambitious 10-year strategy sets out how they will stop prostate cancer being a life‑changing and life‑limiting illness, transforming detection, treatment, and care for men across the UK.
The Role
They are seeking an Interim Assistant Director of Strategy Delivery to join Prostate Cancer UK at a pivotal moment in their journey.
They want to stop prostate cancer from being a life‑changing, life‑limiting illness, and their ambitious 10-year strategy sets out exactly how they’ll get there.
The Interim Assistant Director of Strategy Delivery will lead the translation of that strategy into clear, energising action across the organisation, building the systems, capability, and momentum needed to deliver lasting impact for men affected by prostate cancer.
The role holder will be responsible for integrating functional roadmaps into a coherent organisation‑wide delivery plan, embedding robust programme governance, and developing a forward‑looking AI and digital strategy.
You will be driving one of the most significant transformation programmes in the charity’s history, working at the heart of their Senior Leadership Team over a 6–9 month interim period.
This will span strategic planning, cross‑organisational engagement, performance measurement, and digital innovation.
You will have a proven track record of delivering complex, multi‑year strategic programmes in fast‑paced environments, with the credibility and gravitas to partner with Executive and Board‑level stakeholders and lead through ambiguity.
Closing date for this role is Tuesday 30th June 2026.
