Starfish Search are supporting a London Borough on the appointment of an Interim IT Applications Analyst through its Windows 11 transition, with a focus on application remediation, testing and UAT.
Key responsibilities
- Lead application remediation activity across the Council's application portfolio.
- Gather requirements and coordinate testing and UAT with business users and IT teams.
- Work with third-party suppliers to support application packaging and deployment.
- Review application usage and licensing, identifying opportunities to rationalise or retire applications.
- Maintain accurate application records and report on progress, risks and issues.
About you
- Experience as a Business Analyst, Applications Analyst or similar in a complex organisation.
- Strong experience of application remediation, rationalisation or migration, including testing and UAT.
- Able to work confidently with technical teams, business users and third-party suppliers.
- Local government or wider public sector experience is desirable.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
