Our client, Bickers Insurance, a respected specialist property insurance broker, is looking for an experienced Sales & Product Advisor to join their growing team in Littlehampton.

About the role
We are looking for a confident and motivated Sales & Product Advisor to join our team. You will advise clients on specialist property insurance products, prepare quotations, and place cover with insurers. You’ll also support claims, adjustments, and renewals when needed. This role is fast-paced and client-focused, requiring excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn. You’ll develop a deep understanding of policy wordings and risk management strategies, enabling you to provide the trusted professional advice that sets Bickers apart.
Key responsibilities
- Provide advice on property insurance products and prepare quotations.
- Place cover with insurers, negotiating where required to achieve the best outcomes for clients.
- Support claims, adjustments, and renewals as needed.
- Develop a full understanding of a range of policy wordings and risk management strategies.
- Assess individual client needs and ensure clear, informed recommendations.
- Use computer systems and software confidently while managing client communications.
- Work collaboratively within the quotations team to meet and exceed targets.
- Keep up to date with industry regulations, processes, and compliance requirements.
Full training will be provided in our products, processes, and industry regulations.
Who we are looking for
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in household or property owners insurance.
- Strong knowledge of property insurance policies and cover.
- Educated to GCSE level in English and Maths (or equivalent).
- Confident, professional, and courteous telephone manner.
- Excellent organisational skills and ability to prioritise workload.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Computer literate and comfortable using email, online systems, and preparing client documents.
Regulatory requirements: Individuals working in insurance distribution must be of good repute. Employment and personal references, as well as criminal and credit checks, will be required. Validation checks will continue periodically during employment.
