With a team of experienced financial advisers and planners focused on building long-term relationships, Fingerprint Financial Planning prides itself on delivering bespoke, whole-of-market solutions underpinned by professionalism and integrity. They are equally passionate about developing their people fostering a supportive, collaborative environment where individuals are empowered to grow and excel.
They are now looking for an experienced Will Writer to take ownership of their private client services, working alongside their Independent Financial Advisers (IFAs) and wider team.
The Opportunity
This is a hands-on, client-facing role with real scope to grow a service. The successful candidate will manage their own varied caseload, delivering high-quality advice on:
- Wills (straightforward and complex)
- Estate and care fees planning
- Lasting Powers of Attorney
- Trusts and estate administration
- Inheritance tax planning (in collaboration with IFAs)
As the role develops, there may also be scope to expand into Court of Protection and Deputyship work. A solicitor qualification is not required, however candidates should have the technical knowledge and practical experience to handle matters competently and independently.
What They’re Looking For
- Proven experience in will writing and private client work
- Strong knowledge of wills, trusts, LPAs, estate administration and IHT principles
- Understanding of risk management and regulatory compliance
- The ability to work independently and manage a busy caseload
- A confident, professional manner with clients
- Excellent time management, attention to detail and strong interpersonal skills
- STEP qualification (or working towards it) is desirable — support for professional development will be provided
