As Client Services & Accounting Lead, you will report directly to Emma Lawrence, Co-CEO, and will:

  • Attentively manage a varied portfolio of clients, with an emphasis on building and managing valued relationships.
  • Oversee and review the quality and consistency of output across your pod.
  • Coach and nurture your team, instilling leadership capabilities, and a sense of pride in their work.
  • Enthusiastically drive innovation and change across the organisation, while supporting initiatives for continuous improvement.

As Client Services & Accounting Lead, you will be joining Starfish ahead of a positive and steady period of evolution. This is not a role for someone who is uncomfortable with responsibility, wants to trudge along, and is averse to change and digital innovation.

Therefore, we are only considering:

  • Experienced and qualified Accountants (ACCA/ACA/CIMA) with a track-record reviewing the output of Accountants and Bookkeepers.
  • Personable leaders with interpersonal skills and prior experience of delivering within a client facing role.
  • Proactive, and adaptable leaders with familiarity towards continuous improvement.
  • Individuals who can balance commercial judgement with an efficient focus on delivery.
