Overview: The client is Mars, focused on the Veterinary Health division of the brand. The role of the Social Manager requires a highly motivated & technical person to lead day‑to‑day strategic management across the portfolio’s business, overseeing Social strategy development and execution whilst delivering immaculate client service. This individual will manage the activation across Social platforms, mainly Meta, and report into an Account Director while managing an account executive in India.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver consistent performance and results for EU campaigns.
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of the client’s services and operations, competition, industry and marketing objectives; translate them into Social strategies.
  • Oversee budgeting process, creation of projections and allocation with internal account teams.
  • Oversee and manage Social strategies and campaigns, including supporting account executives with performance analysis, optimisation strategies and implementation.
  • Serve as day‑to‑day contact for mid‑level clients.
  • Demonstrate strong communication skills – be the connective tissue between teams.
  • Contribute to client presentations and meetings, including presentation of data and results.
  • Establish practices to ensure both consistency in teamwork, along with flexibility to flourish under new ideas.
  • Identify gaps/inefficiencies in a timely manner and create improved processes.
  • Grow best practice training to inspire knowledge sharing within immediate team and outside.
  • Take ownership of product strategy and testing.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years Paid Social related experience.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Creative and inquisitive mind.
  • Team training and leadership skills.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with clients, particularly explaining technical concepts to those in non‑technical roles.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects and tasks simultaneously, across multiple internal and external stakeholders.
  • Keen attention to detail and an analytical approach to achieving objectives.
  • Performics values and ethics – open to new ideas and change, curious, and collaborative.
