The overview and responsibilities below describe the Global Market Liaison (GML) role within the Constellation ecosystem and its collaboration with Global and Local teams.

Overview

The Global Market Liaison will bring the best of their Local Market to multiple stakeholders across the Constellation ecosystem. The GML will partner with the Global and Local Samsung teams to ensure strategies are delivered, scaled and merchandised. They will manage queries from Global teams into the Local Market to ensure timely and insightful responses on behalf of the market and share the best of Local Market work, new insights and proactive opportunities with the Global team. The GML will be connected and collaborate on behalf of all capabilities in the market and unify with other GMLs in key markets to improve the overall perception of Constellation capabilities worldwide. The role resides within the Local Market but reports to the Constellation Global MX Team, with two reporting lines: the Global MX Media Lead and the Local Market Media Lead.

Responsibilities

  • Develop a fluid and supportive communication network across Global Media, Local Market agency teams, and Local Clients, with extended connections into Creative, CRM, Production and Data and Analytics.
  • Develop strong working relationships with key Global Team members to seamlessly manage task requests to the Local Market owner, ensure clear communication and timely delivery.
  • Leverage Local and Global technology, filing, and systems to deliver strong workflows.
  • Act as the Global Solutions and Governance provider in the Market: Oversee Local Market delivery and alignment of globally developed strategies, activations and innovations; ensure Local Market stakeholders adhere to global directives; manage responses to Global campaign deliverables and provide timely proactive communication on delivery, challenges and solutions.
  • Ensure Governance and accountability for Local Team adherence to Samsung processes; provide internal training and support and be the go-to person for Samsung global solutions.
  • Deliver and manage Publicis Groupe solutions in the Market (e.g., Salesforce), updating network material and client information.
  • Ability To Craft Strong Stories And Merchandise Great Work: Drive awareness of Local work to Global stakeholders, including local strategies, data/insight led examples, case studies, and innovations; craft case studies for Local and Global sharing and for awards; share Local market successes and learnings to scale best practices; provide Local Market intelligence on category and Samsung behaviours that influence decision-making and campaign performance.

Qualifications

  • A skilled media practitioner with senior agency experience as a planning lead, digital/data capabilities, or related role.
  • Able to merchandise great work through data storytelling and articulate the contribution to Samsung to senior stakeholders.
  • Ability to overcommunicate and drive a networked approach, coordinating across local and global teams and laddering best practices to clients and Global teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple workstreams with multiple stakeholders and push projects forward.
  • Innovative mindset, with interest in the evolving digital landscape and its client applications.
  • Deep understanding of the Local Market media landscape and related capabilities (creative, production, CRM, Data).
  • Experience with multi-million budgets from Global clients into Local Markets.
