About the Role
We are hiring a freelance SEO Account Director to lead AI-driven SEO strategy for a global media agency. You will guide a talented cross-regional team, shaping how AI tools and insights transform SEO performance and client growth. If you have already been operating at Director level and thrive on innovation, strategy, and collaboration — this one is for you.
What You Will Do
- Lead and evolve SEO strategy with a strong AI integration focus
- Mentor and manage SEO specialists across the UK and India
- Deliver AI-led audits, insights, and strategic recommendations
- Create and refine AI prompts and workflows for LLM-based tools
- Turn AI-powered data into clear, actionable SEO decisions
- Oversee performance reporting and adapt strategy as needed
- Act as a senior client partner, presenting insights and driving results
What We Are Looking For
- 2+ years in a Director-level SEO role (agency or client-side)
- Strong understanding of AI tools, LLMs, and AI-led SEO workflows
- Experience leading full-cycle AI audits and developing strategy
- Confident with tools like Profound, Brandlight, BrightEdge, Trajaan, AccuRanker
- Skilled at managing hybrid or remote teams
- Excellent client-facing and presentation skills
- Bonus: experience with AI-powered SEO reporting
