About the Role

We’re hiring a freelance SEO Account Director to lead AI-driven SEO strategy for a global media agency. You’ll guide a talented cross-regional team, shaping how AI tools and insights transform SEO performance and client growth. What You’ll Do

  • Lead and evolve SEO strategy with a strong AI integration focus
  • Mentor and manage SEO specialists across the UK and India
  • Deliver AI-led audits, insights, and strategic recommendations
  • Create and refine AI prompts and workflows for LLM-based tools
  • Turn AI-powered data into clear, actionable SEO decisions
  • Oversee performance reporting and adapt strategy as needed
  • Act as a senior client partner, presenting insights and driving results

What We’re Looking For

  • 2+ years in a Director-level SEO role (agency or client-side)
  • Strong understanding of AI tools, LLMs, and AI-led SEO workflows
  • Experience leading full-cycle AI audits and developing strategy
  • Confident with tools like Profound, Brandlight, BrightEdge, Trajaan, AccuRanker
  • Skilled at managing hybrid or remote teams
  • Excellent client-facing and presentation skills
  • Bonus: experience with AI-powered SEO reporting
