Starcom, a global communications planning and media leader within Publicis Media, is seeking an Amazon & Retail Eventing Lead for the L’Oréal account. The role focuses on strategic ownership across Amazon and retail events such as Prime Day, Black Friday, Cyber Week, and other flagship retail moments.
Responsibilities
- Own Amazon end-to-end strategy across DSP, Search, Prime and AMC, setting direction, making investment decisions, and defining best practice.
- Lead 10–12 major retail events a year, including Prime Day and Black Friday, with dedicated activation teams to execute the vision.
- Operate across the full funnel and full media scale, from upper‑funnel channels such as YouTube, OOH and social to retail media performance.
- Work directly with director‑level stakeholders on both the client and agency side, bringing teams together.
- Shape the newly in‑housed Amazon retail media function, guiding governance and scaling within Commerce UK.
- Own monthly reporting, QBRs and strategic recommendations to influence L’Oréal’s retail media presence in the UK.
Qualifications
- Strong Amazon expertise across DSP and Search, with hands‑on experience earlier in your career.
- Proven leadership on large‑scale retail events such as Prime Day and Black Friday.
- Full‑funnel media experience, including upper‑funnel channels.
- Confidence leading senior stakeholders and aligning multiple teams.
- Typically an Associate Director or Senior AD in a retail media or commerce role, ready for greater scope and ownership.
