Overview

The Measurement Lead will own and drive the measurement agenda across assigned Kellanova segments, brands and markets, ensuring that measurement is not just reported, but actively used to improve marketing effectiveness, investment decisions and learning maturity.

This role sits at the intersection of analytics, media strategy, data governance, experimentation and client leadership.

It requires someone who can connect technical measurement outputs — including MMM, causal analysis, geo-lift testing, incrementality studies, dashboards and campaign measurement — with the practical needs of planners, strategists, channel teams and senior Kellanova stakeholders.

The Measurement Lead will be accountable for setting measurement direction, identifying gaps, shaping testing roadmaps, overseeing the use of MMM and experimentation outputs, improving data quality, and ensuring recommendations are translated into clear actions that influence planning and budget decisions.

  • 1. Measurement Strategy & Leadership
  • Lead the development and implementation of measurement strategies across assigned Kellanova segments, brands and markets.
  • Translate high-level business, brand and media objectives into clear KPI frameworks, learning agendas and measurement plans.
  • Partner with strategy, planning, channel, data, reporting and global measurement teams to ensure measurement is embedded throughout the planning and activation process.
  • Act as the senior measurement partner for internal teams and Kellanova stakeholders, ensuring work is commercially relevant, analytically robust and clearly connected to business decision-making.
  • Identify measurement gaps across markets, brands, channels and reporting processes, and shape practical solutions to improve measurement maturity over time.
  • 2. Test & Learn / Experimentation Ownership
  • Own the Test & Learn roadmap across assigned areas, ensuring experiments are strategically prioritised and designed to answer meaningful business questions.
  • Oversee the design and execution of incrementality tests, including geo-lift tests, randomised control trials and other causal measurement approaches.
  • Ensure test proposals are supported by appropriate pre-test analysis, including sufficiency checks, budget requirements, reach assumptions, regional considerations, exclusions and success metrics.
  • Monitor live tests to ensure they remain on track, escalating risks around feasibility, delivery, data availability or statistical confidence.
  • Translate test outcomes into simple, actionable recommendations that inform future planning, channel strategy and investment decisions.
  • 3. MMM, Econometrics & Investment Effectiveness
  • Lead the interpretation and application of Media Mix Modelling outputs, ensuring MMM is used to guide planning, optimisation and budget allocation decisions.
  • Help teams understand and apply response curves, saturation points, marginal ROI, average ROI, diminishing returns and channel interdependencies.
  • Challenge simplistic interpretations of MMM outputs where needed, ensuring recommendations consider short-term performance, long-term demand generation, brand effects and practical media constraints.
  • Partner with modelling, data science and analytics teams to improve the usability and relevance of MMM outputs across markets and brands.
  • Connect MMM findings with experimentation, campaign measurement and market context to build a more rounded view of marketing effectiveness.
  • 4. Data Quality, Governance & Reporting Readiness
  • Lead the measurement data agenda, working with data, tech, reporting and activation teams to improve the completeness, consistency and usability of media and performance data.
  • Work with teams to identify and resolve data quality issues that could impact MMM, campaign reporting, dashboards or test validity.
  • Support the transition from manual data processes towards more automated, standardised and scalable measurement workflows.
  • 5. Stakeholder Management & Client Influence
  • Confidently lead senior stakeholder conversations on measurement approach, test feasibility, data quality, MMM interpretation and investment implications.
  • Build trusted relationships with Kellanova stakeholders, Publicis capability teams, regional leads and channel specialists.
  • Manage competing priorities across multiple workstreams, ensuring stakeholders are aligned on what matters most and where measurement effort should be focused.
  • 6. Operating Model, Enablement & Team Leadership
  • Define ways of working for measurement across assigned brands, markets or segments, ensuring roles, responsibilities, decision points and handoffs are clear.
  • Create and maintain practical measurement guidance, templates, playbooks, QA processes and stakeholder-facing materials.
  • Support and coach measurement managers, analysts or cross-functional team members to improve analytical quality, strategic thinking and communication.
  • Required Experience
  • 8–10+ years’ experience in marketing measurement, econometrics, media analytics, data science, digital analytics, marketing effectiveness, consultancy or agency-side analytics.
  • Significant experience working directly with senior clients and internal stakeholders in a complex, multi-market or matrixed environment.
  • Proven ability to lead measurement strategy across multiple workstreams, brands, markets or business units.
  • Experience interpreting and applying MMM, experimentation and campaign measurement outputs to support real business decisions.
  • Demonstrable experience improving measurement processes, data quality, reporting standards, testing roadmaps or analytical ways of working.
  • Experience managing, coaching or directing analysts, managers or cross-functional contributors is highly desirable.
