Job Role
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Financial Controller. You will lead a team of accountants providing financial information to support delivery of business objectives while ensuring adherence to Groupe’s policies and internal controls framework. You will be collaborative and proactive with a growth mindset, focused on process improvement and standardization.
Key responsibilities:
- Own delivery of accurate, timely management reporting in line with Groupe policies and accounting standards, with full responsibility for P&L and Balance Sheet.
- Provide insightful commentary and variance analysis across all brands, highlighting risks, opportunities, revenue and operating income performance.
- Drive business profitability through effective financial risk management, including multi-currency exposure and hedging in line with Groupe policy.
- Track and analyse performance against budgets, forecasts, KPIs (including NWC) and external benchmarks.
- Act as a strategic finance partner to senior stakeholders, including the Head of Controllership, Finance Business Partners and CFO.
- Manage financial operations in a high-volume production environment, supporting fast-paced, short-turnaround production activity.
- Ensure strong internal controls, audit readiness and compliance, while driving standardisation, best practice and continuous improvement.
- Lead, develop and motivate a high-performing finance team, fostering collaboration, accountability and professional excellence.
Qualifications:
- Production background as an advantage.
- Fully qualified accountant (e.g. ACCA, CIMA, ACA) with significant post qualification experience.
- Experience of multi-currency financial management and knowledge of hedging techniques as an advantage.
- Demonstrable experience of problem solving and creating efficiencies.
- Ability to explain financial controls and management to non-finance colleagues.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Strong ability to interpret and manipulate data in a logical manner.
- Resilience and ability to work under time pressure in a fast-moving, matrix environment.
- Team leader and team player.
