About the Role
Reporting to our EMEA Commercial Sales Lead, we are excited to offer an entry‑level opportunity for a highly motivated and driven individual ready to launch their career and connect our leading product with the right customers. Working alongside Starburst’s sales and marketing teams, you should possess a natural curiosity about data and a foundational understanding of how technology impacts business. We are committed to providing you with comprehensive training, mentorship, and the full support needed to excel and build a strong foundation in software sales/marketing. You will thrive on the day‑to‑day details of prospecting while developing a clear understanding of the bigger picture, nurturing and qualifying leads for our Account Executives. This position offers a fantastic opportunity for a recent university graduate eager to kickstart a successful career in software sales, with a specific focus on the German market.
Responsibilities
- Contact, educate, and qualify inbound prospective customers to generate qualified sales opportunities.
- Leverage tools and resources (email, phone, web conferencing, webinars, in‑person events) to engage prospects.
- Develop sales acumen: master prospecting, discovery, and lead qualification processes.
- Consistently track, meet, and exceed targets.
- Learn how Starburst technology addresses the technical and business challenges of enterprises.
- Collaborate with assigned Account Executive(s) to create sales opportunities in the assigned territory.
Qualifications
- Business‑level fluency in French, including strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Hard‑working, self‑starter with the ability to handle a high volume of activity while maintaining a positive, energetic persona.
- Strong phone skills, including listening, presentation, and objection handling; good writing skills.
- Desire to win and motivation to build a successful sales career.
- Ability to prioritise and reprioritise tasks in a fast‑paced environment.
- Willingness to learn new technologies and demonstrate attention to detail.
- Proficiency with standard productivity tools (e.g., Google Docs, MS Office, web conferencing).

- Ability to travel: occasional in‑person travel for onboarding, team offsites, customer engagements, and events. Travel expectations vary by role and business needs.
Where could this role be based?
London office; hybrid model with an expectation to be onsite 2‑3 days per week.
