As a leader at Starbucks you will be empowered to treat the store as if it is your own business. To be successful in the role, you\’ll have previous experience in leading a team in a fast-paced retail or hospitality environment. You\’ll champion our Magic Values to create the Starbucks experience for our customers and partners. You\’ll understand your market, getting to know the competition and identify opportunities to drive store profitability and your results forward.

The best part about this role is that no two days are ever the same As a store manager, working in one of our dynamic stores, you\’ll be setting the example and leading from the front on shift. A typical day could include:

· Supporting the growth of your partners, coaching and developing your team and building positive relationships to understand partner challenges, needs and aspirations

· Executing store operations through your team, making sure all of your partners are delivering the Starbucks experience consistently from open to close

· Analysing data and observations in store to inform decision making that improves both the customer experience and overall store performance

· Using forecasting and scheduling tools to manage labour within the required budgets as well as recruitment and training of world class and diverse talent that meets the store needs

· Overseeing stock ordering, ensuring sufficient inventory is available to meet customer demands and conducting accurate stock counts

· Cascading and rolling out of new initiatives to enable operational excellence and drive business results

· Setting challenging yet realistic goals to drive engagement and improve partner performance

· Leading great shifts, providing quality beverages and food products consistently for all customers in line with our recipe and presentation standards

· Role-modelling legendary customer service with a customer comes first attitude and creating genuine connections

· Maintaining a clean and organised workspace for your customers and partners

· Ensuring all partners follow Starbucks operational policies and procedures, including those for till usage and safety and security, to ensure the safety of all partners during each shift
