We are looking for a finance analyst to join our team here at Starbucks. A place where you are valued, challenged, and inspired. Where your voice is brewed into everything we do. At Starbucks, we are all about you.

As part of this role, you will be responsible for supporting the delivery of forecasting, planning, performance reporting, and financial analysis across assigned functions, coordinating the forecast cycle, consolidating inputs from Finance Business Partners, and ensuring timely and accurate reporting to stakeholders. You will also develop dashboards and analytical tools to enhance decision-making, produce weekly and monthly performance reporting, support budgeting and forecasting processes, and provide ad hoc financial analysis across a range of commercial and operational initiatives.

We look to you to bring your relevant finance qualifications and experience, ideally being part or recently qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA or equivalent), ideally within multisite retail or large corporate environments. You will be a data analytics and systems expert with advanced Power BI and Excel skills, with experience using SQL, Alteryx, Anaplan or similar tools to manage, transform and analyse data with a proven ability to automate reporting, improve data quality, build dashboards and generate actionable business insights.

We are looking to see your commercial acumen and business partnering experience, working cross-functionally as a trusted finance partner, supporting decision-making and explaining complex concepts to non-finance stakeholders, which means you will need strong communication, influencing, and presentation skills.

The best part about this role is that no two days are ever the same! Working as our finance analyst, you will get involved in:

  • Delivering insightful reporting, analysis, and performance tracking, producing accurate and timely financial reporting, analysing performance against budget and forecasts, providing clear variance commentary and actionable insights to support decision-making.
  • Supporting forecasting, planning, and financial modelling activities and increasingly owning forecasting cycles (rolling forecasts, quarterly plans, AOP), building and maintaining financial models and business cases aligned to operational and strategic plans.
  • Partnering with stakeholders to drive cost control and commercial performance, collaborating cross-functionally to support cost control, challenge assumptions and provide financial insights.
  • Building strong relationships across finance (EMEA, US) and business teams to enable accountability and planning.
  • Owning and enhancing data, systems, and reporting tools, maintaining data accuracy across systems (e.g. Anaplan, Power BI), managing reporting outputs, and continuously improving and simplifying models, dashboards, and processes to drive efficiency and insight.
  • Supporting governance, insights, and continuous improvement, contributing to monthly business reviews, presentations, and ad hoc analysis; identifying risks and opportunities, supporting data and reporting strategy, and proactively improving ways of working across the finance team.

In return, we offer you a competitive salary and benefits that include:

  • 25 days holiday a year (plus Bank Holidays).
  • Flexible benefits in addition to the benefits listed here we also provide you with an additional 4% to allow you to select the benefits that suit you.
  • Life assurance and private medical insurance for yourself.
  • Comprehensive training (including coffee knowledge!) and access to Starbucks Global Academy (our online learning platform to help continuously develop yourself).
  • Free bag of coffee each week and a 30% partner discount on food, beverages, and merchandise.
  • Discounts with local and national retailers (cell phones, gym memberships, entertainment tickets, hotels, etc.) through Perks at Work platform.
  • Subscription to Headspace.
  • Home Sweet Loan (Interest-free loans that can be paid back over 12 months to help pay your rental deposit).
  • Bean stock options for all partners (own part of Starbucks!).
  • A free 24/7 Employee Assistance Programme available to you and your family.

So, if you are looking for a new opportunity, with us you will be welcomed, you will be challenged, you will be inspired. Here you will be heard. Because here, you are a part of it all. Here you belong.

Starbucks is committed to building an inclusive and diverse workforce. All applicants and partners will be treated fairly, without regard to race, religion, sex, nationality, age, physical or mental disability, sexual orientation, marital status, gender identity and expression.
