As part of this role, youu2019ll be responsible for preparing the monthly management and year-end financial accounts on a timely and accurate basis in compliance with relevant legal, accounting and tax regulations.
Weu2019ll look to you to bring your previous experience of working in a big 4, ideally with further experience within a multisite environment. Youu2019ll be ACA/ACCA qualified with 2-3 years post qualification experience in preparing financial statements with relevant entries and supporting schedules. The ideal candidate will have working knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS, however this isnu2019t essential. Weu2019re looking for someone who can start quickly and hit the ground running.

Providing accounting support to the business for your respective area. Identifying and highlighting opportunities for automation and best practice improvements.
Developing and maintaining various accounting systems and processes required to produce monthly management accounts in accordance with US GAAP, ensuring accuracy and completeness for assigned P&L and Balance Sheet responsibilities
Collaborating cross-functionally with relevant stakeholders to identify the accounting impacts of operational initiatives, unusual transactions, new agreements, and projects.
Supporting with the production of statutory accounts and supporting schedules as assigned.
Preparing monthly and quarterly P&L and Balance Sheet variance analyses and commentary, along with related supporting schedules.
Providing documentation and analysis to support internal and external audits.
Preparing balance sheet reconciliations and cash flow forecasts
Preparing accruals and other journal entries based on outcomes from monthly meetings with relevant stakeholders.
Establishing and maintaining accounting controls to ensure compliance with Starbucksu2019 internal policies and applicable accounting regulations.
Creating and maintaining comprehensive process documentation for areas of responsibility.
