Purpose of the Role
As a Starbucks Barista, you will deliver an exceptional customer experience, serving high-quality beverages and food in a friendly and efficient manner.
You will contribute to a welcoming and safe environment while supporting the team and the store’s operational goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and provide excellent customer service.
- Take accurate orders and operate the point-of-sale system.
- Prepare and serve coffee, tea, specialty drinks, and food items according to Starbucks recipes and standards.
- Operate espresso machines, grinders, and other café equipment safely and efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of work areas, equipment, and customer spaces in line with health and safety standards.
- Restock supplies and monitor inventory levels to ensure smooth store operations.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve store goals and provide support during busy periods.
- Follow all company policies and procedures, including cash handling, safety, and food hygiene requirements.
- Assist with training of new team members when needed.
