We're looking for a senior finance analyst to join our team here at Starbucks. A place where you're valued, challenged, and inspired. Where your voice is brewed into everything we do. At Starbucks, we're all about you.

As part of this role, you'll be responsible for providing strategic and analytical support across the UK and EMEA business, supporting stakeholders with actionable insights, decision-making, and performance management. The role plays a critical part in forecasting, budgeting, business case development, and performance reporting, while acting as a trusted advisor to the business, balancing cost, risk, and growth objectives. With ownership of significant spend and exposure to senior leadership, the Senior Finance Analyst combines strong financial expertise with commercial acumen to influence outcomes. This is a high-impact role within a transforming finance function, requiring a proactive, curious mindset and a focus on continuous improvement, systems advancement, and data-led decision-making.

We'll look to you to bring your relevant finance qualifications and experience; you'll ideally be fully qualified (CIMA, ACCA, ACA or equivalent), but it is not essential. You do need experience in a fast-paced, multisite environment with a proven track record in financial planning, analysis, reporting, and performance insight delivery.

You'll have advanced financial modelling, systems, and technical capability with strong experience building robust financial models and business cases, with advanced Excel skills and familiarity with enterprise planning and reporting tools (e.g., Anaplan, Hyperion, Power BI, Tableau). We're interested in your strong commercial acumen and business partnering capability, with the ability to interpret financial performance drivers and provide actionable insights, with experience partnering with non-finance stakeholders to influence decisions and outcomes.

This means you'll need excellent communication, presentation, and influencing skills, be confident in delivering clear, concise insights to senior stakeholders, simplifying complex financial concepts, and building credibility in cross-functional environments.

The best part about this role is that no two days are ever the same!

Working as our finance analyst, you'll get involved in:

  • Leading financial planning, modelling, and commercial analysis, providing robust analysis of commercial opportunities, including P&L and cashflow modelling, scenario planning, and risk sensitivity analysis to inform strategic decisions across UK and/or EMEA.
  • Owning performance reporting and insight generation, delivering high-quality management reporting, including month-end close, variance analysis vs budget/forecast, and clear commentary.
  • Partnering with stakeholders to drive cost control and commercial performance, acting as a trusted finance partner to senior stakeholders, challenging assumptions, and providing insight to optimise cost, risk and business outcomes.
  • Driving data integrity, systems ownership, and analytics capability, owning elements of financial systems (e.g. Anaplan, Power BI) ensuring data accuracy, leading data-related initiatives, and enhancing analytics and reporting to improve visibility and decision-making.
  • Supporting strategic delivery, stakeholder engagement, and team capability, contributing to UK and/or EMEA strategy, delivering senior-level presentations and leading ad hoc analysis while supporting the development of analysts.

In return, we'll offer you a competitive salary and benefits that include:

  • 25 days holiday a year (plus Bank Holidays).
  • Flexible benefits – in addition to the benefits listed here we'll also provide you with an additional 4% to allow you to select the benefits that suit you.
  • Life assurance and private medical insurance for yourself.
  • Comprehensive training (including coffee knowledge!) and access to Starbucks Global Academy (our online learning platform to help continuously develop yourself).
  • Free bag of coffee each week and a 30% partner discounts on food, beverages, and merchandise.
  • Discounts with local and national retailers (cell phones, gym memberships, entertainment tickets, hotels, etc.) through Perks at Work platform.
  • Subscription to Headspace.
  • Home Sweet Loan (Interest-free loans that can be paid back over 12 months to help pay your rental deposit).
  • Bean stock options for all partners (own part of Starbucks!).
  • A free 24/7 Employee Assistance Programme available to you and your family.

So, if you're looking for a new opportunity, with us you'll be welcomed, you'll be challenged, you'll be inspired. Here you'll be heard. Because here, you're a part of it all. Here you belong.

Starbucks is committed to building an inclusive and diverse workforce. All applicants and partners will be treated fairly, without regard to race, religion, sex, nationality, age, physical or mental disability, sexual orientation, marital status, gender identity and expression.

Know someone who would be a perfect fit? Share this opportunity with them! At Starbucks, there's always room for one more.
