At Starbucks, we’re all about you.As part of this role, you’ll be responsible for analysing complex data and market industry information from multiple sources to develop strategic sourcing recommendations. We’ll look to you to identify unique sources for data and information, conducting opportunity assessments, benchmarking, cost modelling and root cause analysis to develop sourcing recommendations. As our indirects buyer you’ll be independently managing strategic sourcing and supplier management of some indirect spend categories based on market complexity, including building and executing category sourcing strategies.We’ll look to you to bring your strong commercial understanding, ideally within a retail or hospitality environment. We’re looking for a strong negotiator who can apply contract management and supplier relationship management principles. You’ll have working knowledge of market analysis, sourcing category strategy, ‘should-cost’ models as well as knowledge of procurement legal, noncomplex contracting and business ethics. We’re looking for a strong data analyst who can analyse complex data from multiple sources to drive decisions, strategies and market trends at pace.The best part about this role is that no two days are ever the same!
