Overview

In this role you will manage a portfolio of licensed accounts to drive profitable sales, new store growth, and uphold brand standards. You’ll partner with senior licensing leaders to translate data into actionable plans, strengthening licensee relationships and customer experience. You’ll lead joint business planning, portfolio growth, and in-store execution to deliver sustainable, cross-functional impact in the UK. This position offers the chance to shape licensing strategy and drive growth within a global brand.

Responsibilities

  • Own key performance measures for assigned accounts (operating income, new store targets, customer experience)
  • Act as principal relationship lead for licensees and ensure Joint Business Plan initiatives are delivered on time
  • Lead account business planning tailored to licensee and brand needs
  • Create portfolio growth plans with 12-month actions and a 3-year horizon (new stores, refurbishments, lease renewals)
  • Set implementation plans for Starbucks initiatives and use store insights to improve execution and product quality
  • Prioritise deliverables and support the Licensing team as needed
  • Identify performance trends, risks and capability gaps and translate into actions with licensee leaders
  • Communicate priorities clearly and build collaborative licensee relationships
  • Strengthen licensee capability and share best practices
  • Ensure contractual and operational compliance and maintain clear records
  • Protect the Starbucks brand and model the company's Mission and Values
  • Build relationships across Licensing, Store Development, Retail Operations and support functions
  • Demonstrate commercial acumen and use financial/operational insight to improve performance
  • Build trusted relationships with senior leaders in third-party organisations and influence at multiple levels
  • Communicate clearly with operational and cross-functional stakeholders
  • Draw on experience from retail, hospitality, account management or transferable sectors
  • Understand how customer experience supports growth and balance licensee and Starbucks needs
  • Work effectively across functions in a matrixed organisation
  • Operate as a self-starter in a field-based role travelling across the UK and as part of a larger team
