Responsibilities include supporting with store procedures such as opening/closing the store, cash handling, safety & security. You will support fellow partners during periods of high volume to keep the store operating and anticipate and deliver on customer and store needs by getting to know your store environment and customers. You will help create the third place environment during each shift and deliver legendary customer service by acting with a customer-first attitude and creating genuine connections.
Your workspace must be clean and organised for both customers and partners. You will provide quality beverages, whole bean and food products consistently in line with our recipe and presentation standards. Previous experience is not required; we only ask that you bring a passion for bringing joy to our customers.
Working in a Starbucks store is unique. You will create genuine moments of connection with customers, make a difference to their day through hand-crafted delicious beverages, and build relationships by getting to know their favourite drink and your fellow partners.

All store partners begin their careers with us by undertaking an introductory training programme led by in-store trainers and coaches, designed to immerse you in the Starbucks culture and set you up for success. The programme is delivered in store and provides partners the opportunity to learn on the job supported by their manager.
