Role Overview
As a Starbucks barista, you will support daily store operations, deliver outstanding customer service, and create a welcoming "third place" environment for guests and partners.
Responsibilities
- Support store procedures including opening/closing, cash handling, safety and security.
- Assist fellow partners during high‑volume periods to keep the store operating smoothly.
- Anticipate and meet customer and store needs by familiarizing yourself with the environment and clientele.
- Create the third‑place atmosphere during each shift.
- Deliver legendary customer service with a customer‑first attitude and genuine connection.
- Maintain a clean, organized workspace.
- Consistently provide quality beverages, whole bean, and food items in line with recipe and presentation standards.
- Work Schedule
Working hours may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights, and/or holidays.
Training & Development
All retail store partners begin with an introductory training programme led by experienced trainers and coaches, designed to immerse you in Starbucks culture and equip you with essential skills.
Ongoing training includes coffee knowledge and access to Starbucks Global Academy.
