We are looking for you! Working directly for the CEO, you are world‐class at scaling successful global sales, business development and customer success within the AdTech & MarTech industry. You have experience building and managing a $75 m+ annual revenue run rate and a senior network of established relationships within agencies and advertisers. You build connections with decision‐makers, understand market trends, and possess an inspiring leadership style, rainmaker personality and truly global mindset.

As Global Head of AdTech & MarTech at Star, you will define, run and own initiatives that expand Star's industry market share through attracting, retaining and growing world‐class customers with high value offerings.

Must have:
  • 15+ years of sales/business development experience, including selling design, engineering or consulting services within AdTech or MarTech.
  • Proven track record building and managing B2B revenue run rate in excess of $75 m+ annually, scalable to $150 m+.
  • Strong executive relationships and impeccable networking skills.
  • Experience activating and retaining high‐performance salespeople with quotas in excess of $10 m per year.
  • History of personally landing multiple major $10 m+ client engagements per year in the last 4‐5 years.
  • Capability to manage all phases of the sales process from lead generation to closing deals and developing client relationships.
  • Scalable operations expertise and fast‐paced, highly collaborative team player.
  • Solid experience in software services and/or consulting firms.
  • Fluent in consultative selling with a strong ability to identify, open and win specific large‐scale customers.
  • Strong muscle memory of revenue stabilization and growth during crises and downcycles.
  • Public speaking and negotiation skills.
  • Avid practitioner of scalable process and methodology.
  • Value pricing expertise.
  • Truly global with experience and appreciation of American, European and Asian business cultures.

  • Scrappiness and high‐growth company mentality.
  • High degree of cognitive and emotional intelligence applied to solving complex business problems with cross‐functional teams.
  • Succession planning experience.
  • Understanding of design thinking & software development process.
  • Ability to travel 30‐40% of the time and passion for analytics and data.

What Impact You'll Make:
  • Lead a global industry team of direct reports and matrixed commercial and delivery crew members.

  • Maintain a qualified pipeline of a minimum of 2.5× the annual revenue targets.
  • Own creation and execution of global and regional industry sales plans focusing on acquisition, retention and growth.
  • Lead through relationships, networking, speaking engagements and events.
  • Establish and implement OKRs and performance measures.
  • Own executive and board-level reporting on industry performance.
  • Manage sales systems and incentive structures ensuring accountability.
  • Recruit, activate and manage high‐performance crew members.
  • Collaborate with marketing and inside sales teams on lead generation.
  • Act as spokesperson and opinion leader for the industry.
