We are currently seeking a talented and experienced Marketing Manager to lead the development and implementation of marketing strategies for a key product portfolio within the consumer healthcare sector . This role is pivotal in driving brand growth and ensuring alignment with broader business objectives and reports to the Marketing Director.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Marketing Director and cross-functional teams to create comprehensive marketing and trade marketing strategies that align with brand objectives.
- Conduct market analysis to identify growth opportunities within relevant product categories.
- Monitor competitor activity to uncover insights and opportunities to inform brand strategies.
- Develop and manage briefs for external agencies (advertising, media, design, etc.), ensuring alignment with brand goals and delivery of high-quality outputs.
- Execute marketing plans, including:
- Designing and implementing brand strategies and promotional activities.
- Preparing regular performance updates and business reports for clients.
- Managing budgets effectively and tracking expenditure across various channels.
Professional Qualifications and Experience:
- Demonstrated marketing experience in FMCG , with a preference for expertise in grocery or pharmacy sectors.
- Experience with health and beauty, personal care, over-the-counter (OTC) products, or regulated industries would be highly beneficial.
- A recognised marketing qualification (e.g., CIM) would be advantageous; a degree in marketing is preferred.
Required Skills:
- Proficient in marketing channels, including media and distribution.
- Strong financial and commercial acumen to create robust marketing plans and forecasts.
- Intermediate to advanced skills in Excel (data analysis, financial reporting), PowerPoint (professional presentations), and Word (meeting minutes and correspondence).
- Experience with sales databases to generate insights for reporting and presentations.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently.
