We are recruiting for a market-leading business who are looking for a driven and ambitious sales person to join their team covering the South East London territory of customers. You will be responsible for calling on independent pharmacy customers on a bi-monthly basis to sell, educate and provide point-of-sale material. You will need to establish ongoing relationships and build trust with the pharmacy owners and staff.

Key Responsibilities

  • Achieve sales objectives, including order targets, distribution, point of sale, detailing, and merchandising within independent pharmacies
  • Manage your own diary and plan your visits using planning software
  • Educate pharmacy staff on product features and benefits, encouraging recommendations of specific products to customers
  • Adhere to policies and procedures, ensuring compliance at all times
  • Maintain frequent and effective communication with line management and the sales support team
  • Record all activity accurately on the CRM system
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities within the assigned territory
  • Perform other tasks related to the role as directed by the manager

Ideal Experience

  • Previous experience in B2B sales, preferably within FMCG or Health & Beauty sectors
  • Knowledge of the independent pharmacy industry
  • Experience with CRM systems
  • Good standard of education
  • Strong communication skills to confidently present product features and benefits at all levels
  • Ability to analyse and manage sales targets, ensuring KPIs are met
  • Effective time management skills
  • Competency in using CRM systems for territory analysis and sales recommendations
  • In-depth knowledge of the industry to anticipate and address potential challenges or objections
