What’s the Role?
As a Commercial Insights Analyst, you’ll serve as the right hand to senior leaders across sales, marketing and operations, delivering clarity through data. You'll be producing regular performance reports, evaluating trade spend effectiveness, and interpreting trends to highlight growth opportunities. You’ll also play a key part in administrative coordination and support, ensuring day-to-day operations flow smoothly and key stakeholders stay informed and aligned.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Reporting & Commercial Analysis
- Produce insightful reports on sales performance across brands and customer channels.
- Analyse sales trends, identify anomalies, and deliver insights that support strategic decisions.
- Evaluate trade spend effectiveness and return on investment.
- Monitor distribution metrics such as share of shelf, SKU count, and display presence.
- Work with both internal and third-party data sources (e.g., retail scan data) to inform strategy.
- Assist in preparing and documenting team meetings and cross-functional initiatives.
- Maintain key business trackers such as invoices and promotional spend logs.
- Support process improvements across the commercial operations team.
What We’re Looking For:
- A degree in Business, Data Analytics, Marketing, or similar.
- Prior experience in an analytical or business support role within consumer products or retail.
- Strong skills in Excel; ideally experience with tools like Power BI or Tableau.
- Excellent attention to detail with a proactive mindset.
- Comfortable working with large data sets and communicating insights clearly to stakeholders.
- Organised, solutions-oriented, and a team player with great communication skills.
Nice to Have:
- Background in FMCG, OTC, or consumer healthcare environments.
