If you’ve got the talent to manage a team, deliver great service, and know your local community, this is your chance to build a successful pub business. So, what would you do with the White Horse to drive forward our Premium Local concept?
The White Horse sits in the peaceful village of Sundridge, Kent, just off the M25, within the Kent Downs Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. It’s the only pub in the village and is surrounded by countryside, while still attracting strong passing trade from those travelling to nearby destinations such as Hever Castle and the wider Kent attractions. The planned refurbishment will fully redecorate the pub both inside and out, adding new furniture, bric-a-brac and a traditional snug area to enhance its warmth and atmosphere. The beer garden will be levelled and returfed to create a standout outdoor space for summer trade, supported by new signage and external lighting.
There are around 937 residents within walking distance, with the customer base made up of locals from Sundridge and surrounding rural areas, as well as visitors travelling through Kent. The area has no direct pub competition within a 10-minute walk, reinforcing the White Horse’s role as the village hub. Affluence levels are high, typical of this part of rural Kent, with residents and visitors seeking relaxed, quality hospitality in a traditional setting.
You can drive trade through a mix of good food, live sport and entertainment, building on the pub’s role as a true community hub. We’re also really interested to hear your ideas on how to drive trade. Attitude is more valuable than experience. If you’ve got the following, we’d love to hear from you:
- Strong food knowledge and hospitality experience.
- The ability to build atmosphere through sport and events.
- Enthusiasm for creating a proper pub feel with a great team and local following.
If this sounds like the incredible pub opportunity you’ve been waiting for, apply today and tell us what you can bring to this pub’s next chapter...
