About the pub

Marne Inn is a welcoming local pub, providing a premium drinks range that combines a quality pub atmosphere, live sports and social events.

A full refurbishment of this pub is planned to help you drive trade. Applicants should be aware that all refurbishments are subject to final board approval which will be determined as part of the leasing process.

The pub is located at Thorley Park Centre in Bishop’s Stortford, surrounded by an established residential community and close to a large supermarket, several other shops and a local park. It benefits from convenient parking, regular passing footfall and easy access from the surrounding housing estate.

There are 13,250 adults living within a 20-minute walk of the pub, providing a substantial local audience. With limited direct competition and a strong mix of mid-life customers and young families nearby, the pub is well placed to become a quality premium local serving the community throughout the day and evening.

The offer

Marne Inn will be a wet-led premium local offering a full drinks range, including alcohol-free options, alongside a coffee offer.

Trading Area & Facilities

The refurbishment of Marne Inn will cover both the interior and exterior of the pub. A full list of works and pub floor plan can be found in the Downloads section.

All internal trading areas will be fully refurbished to create a welcoming premium local. Outside, the plans include complete redecoration, new signage, extensive repairs and improvements to the courtyard and garden, helping the pub deliver a quality offer throughout the day and across the week.
