A refurbishment is planned for Wellington Bar, with the investment value to be confirmed, transforming it into a refreshed community pub with a stronger sports, entertainment and socialising offer. What would you do with this pub to make it a success? About the area Wellington Bar is in Falkirk town centre, surrounded by shops, food and retail outlets. The pub is within walking distance of the train station and very close to Falkirk's main shopping street, giving it strong visibility and access to people visiting, working and socialising in the centre. Around 3,671 adults live within walking distance of the pub. The pub currently benefits from an established wet-led trade with a value-led, traditional offer. The refurbishment will build on that base by creating a more modern community pub designed to appeal to a broader and more diverse audience, with particular potential to attract younger professionals and after-work socialising. Wellington Bar is one of several pubs trading in a busy town-centre hospitality scene, so the refreshed interior, entertainment space and stronger external presence will help it stand out while remaining rooted in the local community. The offer Wellington Bar is available on our investment tenancy agreement. Click here for more information on this agreement. Please refer to the 'Refurbishment Details' section for details of the investment being made.
