Mobile Service Engineer - Warrington (North West)

We are seeking an experienced Access Engineer with strong diagnostic and repair expertise across mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, servicing, and troubleshooting access platforms and related equipment, ensuring safe and efficient operation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Attending breakdowns and carry out repairs on a fleet of powered access equipment such as cherry pickers, scissor lifts, and booms at customer sites
  • Service and maintain mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems
  • Carry out preventative maintenance to minimize downtime
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and industry standards
  • Accurately record all work completed, parts used, and system status
  • Provide technical support and advice to colleagues and customers when needed

Skills & Experience Required

  • Proven experience as an Access Engineer, Service Engineer, or in a similar role
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical diagnostics
  • Experience working with powered access equipment (MEWPs, scissor lifts, boom lifts, etc.)
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Valid UK driving license
