The predicted salary is between 43200 - 72000 £ per year.
The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and working with key strategic customers and accounts for our client’s ophthalmology portfolio and will play a pivotal role in achieving its strategic and commercial intent.
Company Overview: Our client is a pharmaceutical provider of niche hospital and ophthalmology drugs in response to unmet patient needs. They are a privately owned, medium-size, specialist organisation with a passion for R&D and product development to provide patients with greater access to the treatments they require. Possessing a global presence, our client pride themselves on their collaborative and inclusive working culture, platform for personal and professional development and are looking for a commercially focused leader to join them on their journey and match their entrepreneurial spirit.
Role Overview: Build national account plan utilising environmental data, market and customer insights to create a bespoke plan that is aligned to the brand strategy. Ensure product information is presented via the appropriate data and work with medical colleagues to identify opportunities for capturing RWE. Organise and implement product training and familiarisation programmes with key customers and centres. Fully map and engage with Key Opinion Leaders (KOL’s), developing key customers as advocates of ophthalmology portfolio. Leverage the capability across the organisation to co-ordinate resources to meet the goals of the account plan and to build long term customer relationships as well as meet short term business goals.
To be successful:
- Qualified Optometrist / Degree or equivalent qualifications
- Demonstrate a strong working knowledge of the NHS, Private Healthcare and all associated systems, networks and priorities
- Interpersonal skills with ability to participate in cross functional teams in leading with and without authority, negotiating and managing through influence
- Strong project management skills
- Demonstrate business planning capability and can formulate and present business proposals
