Star Actuarial is currently representing an exciting and highly visible role combining high-quality technical delivery, trustee-facing advice and leadership of client teams. With the opportunity to shape and expand the firm's already rapidly expanding defined benefit pension consolidation space, you will lead and manage key client engagements, including responsibility for project planning, timescales, budgets and stakeholder management.
You will also utilise your interpersonal and emotional intelligence skills to manage and develop teams on each project while sharing your specialist technical knowledge across the wider actuarial pensions team, contributing to thought leadership, internal training and development of best practice.
With a strong track record of advising Trustee Boards and managing a portfolio of Scheme Actuary appointments and trustee relationships, the successful candidate will possess a strong understanding of the UK DB pensions landscape and the challenges facing schemes and consolidators. Excellent communication and project management skills are also essential.
