The role:
Are you a senior data engineer, ideally with an actuarial background, seeking your next high-impact role within a major insurance group? Then this key position has your name written all over it!
In this exciting and unique opportunity, you will:
- Lead a team in delivering the successful transformation of the data analytics environment to support the delivery of Underwriting strategy
- Take a key lead in the introduction and embedding of a Cloud computing environment for Underwriting
- Act as technical leader for the development and delivery of a new Underwriting Datamart using the Databricks platform
What will I need?
- Technically astute with experience of Python, SQL and Databricks
- Insurance experience (though an actuarial qualification is not essential)
- Excellent analytical skills
