We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and flexible lunchtime assistant. The successful candidate will be a friendly and reliable team member with an interest in working with children during the busy lunch period.
Responsibilities
- Manage the behaviour of groups of children during lunchtime
- Deal with any basic first aid incidents if necessary
- Keep calm under pressure during peak times
- Ensure kitchen health and safety standards are met
- Communicate effectively with students and staff
Qualifications & Personal Attributes
- Positive and committed individual who works well as part of a team
- Friendly, reliable and able to handle the lunch period environment
- Good communication skills with students and colleagues
- Knowledge of kitchen health and safety
- Empathy and understanding of students’ needs
