About Eden Boys' Leadership Academy, Manchester

Eden Boys’ Leadership Academy, Manchester is a Muslim faith-based secondary school for boys, which welcomes pupils from all faiths and none. We opened in Cheetham Hill in 2017 and moved to a new state-of-the-art campus in 2019. Like all Star schools, we have a leadership specialism. We were rated as "Good" overall by Ofsted during our first inspection in November 2021. In January 2026, the school was inspected under Ofsted’s new framework and was awarded "Exceptional" – the highest grade – in three areas and "Strong standard" – the second highest grade – in the remaining three areas. Who we’re looking for

We’re looking for a dedicated individual to provide tailored support to our pupils. You will be committed to making a positive difference to young people’s lives and in supporting and developing their learning. Your intervention will help enable an outstanding learning environment for our young people, providing the support they need to succeed. The successful candidate will be a committed team player with excellent organisational and technical skills, and the ability to effectively support learning and teaching, and to develop relationships across our school and the Star community.

You will have:

  • NVQ Level 3 Teaching Assistant or equivalent.
  • Experience of working with children in a school setting.
  • The ability to maintain positive relationships with students and other adults.
  • The ability to work with pupils on a one to one, small groups and whole class.
  • The ability to work effectively within a team.
